First I volunteered at a baby orphanage. After a few weeks I canged my project and worked for the next 5 weeks in two primary schools. I tought maths and English in Standart 5 and helped with the arts and sprots classes. It was a great experience because school is very different in Tanzania. I also had to deal with difficult moments as you hear or see. My last four weeks when the school were closed for holiday I volunteered at a Children’s home. It was great to see how thankful and happy the children are who have nearly anything. Even in my short time there I have become attached to these strong children.
I had a great time in Tanzania which I would recommend to everybody. Karibu!!
